Evangeline wants to write a book
Written by on June 9th, 2010

Lost looker Evangeline Lilly dropped by Craig Ferguson’s couch last night for some after-hours chit chat. And after covering a few non-kid-friendly topics (Ferguson’s snake-shape mug, the potential removability of Lilly’s dress, etc.), she shifted gears to give a sneak peek of a children’s book she’s writing called Squickerwonkers (we’re guessing at the spelling there). Here’s a sample:

“The name is Squickerwonker, perhaps unknown to you. But that’s it, Squickerwonker. And here’s what Squickerwonkers do…”

Of course, Lilly didn’t spend six years on that island for nothing: She ends her little recitation with a Lost-worthy cliffhanger about the Squickerwonker’s “horrible secret.”

I’m on my final-exams period, that’s why I might be a bit off these days; this doesn’t mean I’m not going to update the site, it’s just it will take a little bit longer.

Hope you understand.

May ‘Lost’ mysteries never end
Written by on May 30th, 2010

Another press article about LOST…I know there are a lot more out there, but some are just gossiping around, and this site stays away from all that crap.

By Robert Lloyd for Los Angeles Times
“Lost,” the most complicated series in the history of television, will come to its end Sunday and without having seen a second of its 2 1/2-hour conclusion, I prophesy that it will leave many viewers unsatisfied, either because it will say too much or not enough, or because it will be too explicit or too vague, or too prosaic or too mystical, or too final or too inconclusive.”

What do you think of the finale? did it answered all your questions??- Please feel free to comment and share your point of view.

Life after LOST what will the stars do next?
Written by on May 27th, 2010

Thanks to ABC, we have another article about life after LOST. This is what it says about Evangeline

[...] Evangeline Lilly was also on that fateful Oceanic flight six seasons ago. And she’s more than ready to get off the island.

“I am very ready for the next chapter in my life rather than in my career and it has been an amazing run,” Lilly said. “It will probably go down in my life time has being one of the most significant times of my life, one of the most memorable things I have ever done. But I’m ready for something new.” [...]

Life after ‘Lost’ series finale for Evangeline Lilly
Written by on May 25th, 2010

New press article about the future of Evie, without “Lost” ;

“Last night saw the two-and-a-half hour finale of “Lost” air after much anticipation. After six, confusing and twisting, series the cult drama has ended but what is next for its stars, such as Evangeline Lilly, having spent over six years as island recluses in Hawaii.

Lilly, who played fugitive Kate Austen in the series, has said that she was going to take a break from acting after the show and she is ready for something different.

Terry O’Quinn, who played John Locke on the hit show, joked at Lilly’s bright future.

“I think there’s a youthful version to it,” O’Quinn said. “Evangeline Lilly goes ‘the world is open to me now’, the difference between 20 something and 50 something is, I’m out of work.”

Lilly said “I am very ready for the next chapter in my life rather than in my career and it has been an amazing run. It will probably go down in my life time has being one of the most significant times of my life, one of the most memorable things I have ever done. But I’m ready for something new.”

Apart from her role in “Lost” she also starred in a small role in “The Hurt Locker”. She played Jeremy Renner’s wife. Now she will be starting across from Hugh Jackman and Kevin Durand (also from “Lost”) in a futuristic boxing drama movie “Real Steel”. Believe it or believe it not!”
